PUMA relaunches an OG basketball sneaker

We love a comeback, PUMA loves a comeback, we love PUMA… you get where we’re going with this. So when we heard that a PUMA OG was making a comeback, we could hardly contain our excitement.

RE-introducing the OG Palace Guard basketball sneaker. The silhouette, which made its first appearance on Isaiah Thoams, has just been re-released in a red, white and blue colourway inspired by the Detroit Pistons, the team that Thomas played for during his career.

With nostalgic qualities to boot, the shoe is also functional. Having solidified its place in NBA history in the 80s, the shoe has been re-engineered to meet the 2019 consumers wants and needs. Features include; Trinomic technology, a polyurethane midsole and a molded sockline to give extra stability and comfort. The finishing feature is a 3D basketball logo on the tongue. Safe to say this is going to be one of the greatest comebacks of 2019.

Will PUMA continue to re-release classic PUMA basketball sneakers from their archives? We can’t wait to find out!
