Custom Parnell Mooney
London Apollo, May 2024
Taking the title for some of the most iconic Olivia Dean outfits are the three custom Parnell Mooney looks for the singer’s three sold-out London Apollo shows in May 2024. Each night, she emerged in a voluminous taffeta two-piece—crafted in pink, red, or yellow—only to transform mid-performance into a sleek mini skirt paired with matching tights. The clever costume reveals, reminiscent of Cher’s iconic wardrobe moments and Bucks Fizz’s legendary quick changes, brought plenty of drama and theatricality.

In June 2024, Dean made her welcome return to Glastonbury Festival, this time making her debut on the iconic Pyramid Stage. As the brass band erupted with 'Ok Love You Bye', Dean entered the stage wearing custom Chopova Lowena to mark the momentous occasion. In signature Chopova Lovena style, the mini bubble skirt element featured elements of hardware and clashing patterns while her top boasted a photograph of Dean’s grandmother, surrounded by embellishments. Speaking to the crowd, Dean exclaimed, “This song is for my granny, to the Windrush generations, for any immigrant, anyone who’s brave enough to move.’

KNWLS
Lollapalooza Festival, August 2024
From Osheaga to Lollapalooza, Dean leant on the guidance of her stylist Simone Beyene for yet another surprising festival look. The South London brand KNWLS provided the foundation: a mini utilitarian-inspired shift dress from its Fall/Winter 2024 collection, perfectly embodying the label’s signature deconstruction of femininity. Dean amplified the look with knee-high fuzzy boots—a kitschy yet undeniably stylish choice.

KENZO
Tokyo, August 2024
To commemorate her first-ever shows in Japan, Dean wore a KENZO look from the Menswear Spring/Summer 2025 (SS25) collection. The green crochet piece, with large floral motifs, not only commanded attention on stage but perhaps carried a subtle significance. The KENZO Menswear Spring/Summer (SS25) collection paid homage to the brand’s founder, Kenzo Takada - a creative of both French and Japanese descent - and bridged the gap between East and West influences.
