The latest New Balance fusion of lifestyle and luxury

Last week Remix editor Steven Fernandez hosted an exclusive press preview in Auckland to showcase the latest New Balance sneaker to a lucky crowd of fashion media.

And today New Balance announced this 247 Luxe worldwide, revealing a brand new silhouette, designed with the urban lifestyle in mind, which fuses the brand’s quality craftsmanship with modern performance needs.

The New Balance 247 offers a new look, feel and fit that draws inspiration from iconic models past. Inspiration from heritage models includes the asymmetrical detail on the toe vamp that is a subtle reference to the 1300; a collar strap design taken from the 574 and 576; and, a sleeker more lightweight version of the 998 midsole.

Available in black, beige and tan, the 247 Luxe is one of the New Balance’s boldest style statements, catching the attention of fashion crowds and sneakerheads alike. Those guilty of running around town in their activewear or athleisure will want to get their hands on a pair of these babies for the ultimate fusion of fashion and function.
