Kowtow's newest offering will give you all the feels

It's a cause close to Gosia Piatek's heart, and this year, the Kowtow founder and creative director is taking steps to give back.

In the late '80s, Gosia arrived to New Zealand shores as a refugee, along with her Polish parents. This year, Gosia has imagined two new charity T-shirts in commemoration of World Refugee Day. Based on the current AW17 'Dreamscape' collection, these limited edition tees will raise funds and awareness for refugees resettling in New Zealand, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Red Cross.

'To me, there is no other bigger topical issue than the current refugee crisis, Gosia says. 'Knowing we can provide ease to a family or add kindness to life, and not adding any more hardship, is the lease we can do as a human race.'

Featuring a print aptly named 'Heart House', both tees (available in short and long sleeve) boast a house with a heart inside, a symbol that acknowledges the journey of refugees and welcomes them to rebuild their lives in New Zealand.

Remembered the world over today (20th June), the aim of World Refugee Day is to commemorate the strength, courage and perseverance of millions of refugees.
