The girl who redefined fashion

She coined a signature off-duty look that inspired the masses, is single-handedly responsible for the rise of skinny jeans and made slip dresses cool. There's no disputing Kate Moss' status as a supermodel in every sense of the word and has been for years. Her rise to fame was not without its fair share of controversy – namely a drug scandal in 2005 which resulted in several fashion houses dropping her from their campaigns. But after 30 years in the industry, the coveted covergirl has always managed to come out on top.

In light of her 43rd birthday, we took a look back at the most ground-breaking fashion moments and trends inspired by the ultimate icon of British style – the inimitable Kate Moss.
