Jane Birkin returns to fashion

Fashion's muse Jane Birkin has, after over 50 years of enchanting the fashion world, certainly not lost her charm. The 69-year-old has returned to the world of fashion by unexpectedly fronting a campaign for Saint Laurent as part of the brand's ongoing Music Project. 

Founded in 2013, the Music Project celebrates iconic musicians, with previous faces including those of Courtney Love, Kim Gordon and Joni Mitchell. 

The black and white portraits of Birkin, shot by Hedi Slimane earlier this month show the icon looking relaxed, beautiful and as stylish as ever.
