ICYMI: 7 things you need to know about Fenty x Puma at PFW
Fenty x Puma was one of the main events of Paris Fashion Week, much to Rihanna's surprise. "I would never expect that I would be allowed in Paris to show a collection this early," the singer-turned-designer said. In a move that shocked nobody, the show was incredible.
If you missed it, here are 7 things you need to know about the show:
The intimate set up was inspired by old-school Paris Fashion Week. Rihanna told Vogue backstage “it’s going to be a very salon-style show — very French — and that idea was inspired by those old Christian Dior shows from back in the day, when he would show in a small room."
Anwar Hadid took his sophomore walk down the runway alongside our runway favourite, Taylor Hill.
Rihanna described her collection as "If Marie Antoinette was going to the gym and needed something to wear."
The collection featured 5 colour stories – pink, green, white, nude and purple
The show featured pieces such as sweatpants with corsets, hoodies with pearls, lace do-rags – the perfect mix of regal, street and sportswear
The sound track for the runway was a combination of trap beats with violins
With no surprises, the stands were the shoes. Lace up sneakers were transformed into pointed toe heels, gum soles made an appearance and the iconic fur slides were replaced with oversized satin bows.
But don't take our word for it, check out the collection below:
