When you think of high-fashion, you think of Gucci. This household name has become synonymous with luxury and their product repertoire doesn’t stop at designer bags. Gucci may have begun as a leather goods business but now in 2018, they’re equally famous for their show-stopping red carpet looks. 

There is no shortage of celebrity events for designers to showcase their collections. The Oscars, the Golden Globes and even the Emmy’s, they’re basically runways in disguise! However, there is one event that does not hide its fashion-focussed intentions, the Met Gala.

The Met Gala has earned its infamy over the years for being a night filled with drama, excitement and haute couture. With the festivities kicking-off on May 7th, our favourite fashionistas will be putting the final touches on their outfits and preparing to WOW the crowds.

To pass the time, we have carefully selected our five favourite Gucci looks from over the years. The 2018 Met Gala theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, has already caused controversy. Nevertheless, we’re certain this will be Gucci’s best year yet.
