Every highlight from Milan Fashion Week so far
The fashion elite poured into Milan this week for one of Europe's most prominent fashion events - Milan Fashion Week. And this year, we were lucky enough to be part of the action.
Remix magazine editors Steven Fernandez and Tim Phin were on the ground Milan to soak up every stylish moment, from sitting proudly at Gucci's runway show to attending one of the most illustrious events of the week - the Swarovski Crystal Wonderland party. And while the boys experienced the glamour first-hand, the rest of the girls in the office were squealing with delight with every Snapchat and DM received.
But before you experience too much #FOMO, we've jotted down our favourite moments of the week to date for your reading pleasure.
To start? Gucci. Creative Director Alessandro Michele left us awed at the luxury fashion house's exquisite SS18 collection show - proving once again why Gucci is the name on everyone's lips (and arms, and feet, and bodies...). Our picks? The House vintage embossed rubber bag, obvs.
We were equally lusting over this tulle, ice-skating inspired vision adorned with crystal embroidery... Molto chic!
Next on the agenda was Prada, and House's SS18 show left us wide-eyed and open-mouthed with every graphic look that graced the runway.
This comic-book inspired coat has us dreaming in technicolour...
While this jacquard belt has us asking the boss for a payrise (stat).
Insider secret: Did you know the Prada office has a slide?! Prada's Milan headquarters features a massive three-story slide, which starts in Miuccia Prada’s office and lands you outside the building on the ground floor!
Spotted! Steven and Tim witnessed the inimitable Anna Wintour dashing from a cab to Gucci's show. She literally ran-walked her way in...
While we wish we were there for the A.W. sighting, we were more jealous that the boys attended one of the most luxe Fashion Week after parties - Swarovski's Crystal Wonderland! Opening Milan Fashion Week, Swarovski and brand ambassador Karlie Kloss hosted VIP media and fashionistas alike at a private Italian villa.
Andrea Bocelli serenaded more than 100 VIP guests as they dined. The dress code? A festive mix of silver and red, to tie in with the glittering Christmas tree that decorated the venue.
The long list of VIP's included one of our favourite cover stars, Naomi Campbell, who remembered editors Steven and Tim and chatted and toasted with them throughout the night. Chit chats with Naomi Campbell - we clinked glasses and chatted with one of our fav cover stars Naomi Campbell
But, of course, the lads couldn't be all play and no work, so they cheersed with a bottle of Peroni in hand at the Il Salumaio di Montenapoleone while planning our next cover shoot.
Stay tuned for more Milan Fashion Week action!
