Fashion designers Georgia Alice, Lucy McIntosh & Sly Guild up for esteemed export award

[gallery link="file" ids="4780,4777,4776"] Some of the biggest names in the business have had a helping hand from the DHL Express Fashion Export Scholarship, which will next week announce the winner for 2014. I Love Ugly, Lonely Hearts, Stolen Girlfriends Club and Commoners have all received the $10,000 international export scholarship, using it to further themselves and their designs in the global fashion market. In its seventh year, the DHL Express Fashion Export Scholarship is designed to identify New Zealand’s hottest up-and-coming fashion exporters and assist them in achieving international growth. The three finalists for the DHL Express Fashion Export Scholarship 2014 are: - Georgia Alice - Lucy McIntosh - Sly Guild In a first for the competition, inaugural winner Dan Gosling, director and part owner of Stolen Girlfriends Club, has returned to the DHL Express Fashion Export Scholarship as a judge. Gosling will join an esteemed panel that includes John Kelly, MAX Fashions CEO, Paul Blomfield, chairman at FINZ and Megan Wildermoth, fashion and textiles specialist at DHL. Photography by Sam Lee.
