What’s your favourite way to stay active?
I would probably say walking my dog outside. I’m obsessed with her so, if I can get some sort of exercise of any kind, I’ll be outside, so it’s so nice to be with my dog.
Picture this, no one’s home, you have the whole house as your stage to dance and sing. What’s your song of choice?
Probably, Shania Twain – ‘Man I Feel Like a Woman’. My mum always plays it on Christmas Day, so it fills me with the best memories of family Christmas’s! To be honest, I probably dance to it when people are home as well…
What is your summer BONDS must have?
Their crop tops are so comfortable for when you’re lazing around home or at the beach. Also definitely a summer set to get you in the festive mood.
What does New Years have in store for you?
Lot’s of travel! We are going to LA on New Years and then planning a big trip around Europe, so next year will be the year of travel for me. I’m also booked in for a holiday with my Uncle in February, he just took my passport and I have no idea where I’m going so that’s pretty exciting!
2018 has seen major developments in body image acceptance and confidence, which means a big increase in the discussion around underwear and fitting the body. Why do you think people are now more open to discussing their body and accepting their shape?
It all comes from how we’ve all been brought up with magazines and models and traditionally it’s been all tall, skinny girls but now we see that changing.
I think it’s really good for younger generations to see a change, because it’s the brands that are shifting their perspective and putting different body types in their campaigns that are going to encourage normality, making people feel more confident.
If you had a chance, what is something you’d tell your 16-year-old self from your vantage point today?
Just to not worry so much, and your life ends up working out exactly how it’s supposed to. You just have to trust in yourself and in the universe that everything will work out and you’ll be happy.
What is the ultimate way for you to relax?
To be on a beach somewhere. Or having a pamper day, so I’ve read a book, lit a candle, had a bath and just had some me time. That would be when I’d be the most relaxed.
How do you get in the spirit for Christmas?
Chocolate covered strawberries, and lots of shopping. That’s my favourite part about Christmas, actually buying gifts for other people. I’m obsessed with buying peoples presents and watching them open them. And a good Christmas candle.
What do you want in your stocking this year?
Just chocolate, I’m happy with chocolate. My boyfriend is like ‘what do I buy you? You get sent everything’, the answer is always chocolate. It’s the one time of year you don’t have to feel guilty.

Why do you think people are now more open to discussing their body and accepting their shape?
We’re in 2018 now, I don’t think people care so much. We just need to take less notice of people on Instagram who face-tune and body-tune… it’s becoming cooler to be yourself!
What do you hope the New Year has in store for you?
Lots of travel and adventures! Japan, Australia, the States… I’ve just signed a contract with Jetstar so, flights everywhere, plenty of travelling for sure!
What is the most adventurous or outrageous thing you’ve ever done?
I rope swung out of a hot air balloon at 6,500 feet! It was in California. I had my skydive rig on, got up high then jumped out of the basket; it swung me all the way out. It’s probably one of the most incredible things I’ve ever done in my life.
2018 has been a big year in fashion, in terms of acceptance of different body shapes and what it means to be beautiful. What does beauty mean to you?
To me, beauty is everywhere. It’s not just how you look, it’s how you act, how you treat people. That comes across so much more than the way somebody looks.
What’s something you would tell your 16-year-old self from your vantage point today?
Give it guts! Keep chasing your dreams. It wasn’t until I hit my twenties that I really started focusing on myself and chasing my dreams. I think if I started chasing them earlier I’d be little bit further ahead in life now.
How do you get into the spirit for Christmas?
That song by the Pogues! As soon as that song comes on I’m in the Christmas spirit for sure. I don’t mind doing a little trip up Franklin Road either – that makes me feel super Christmassy.
What do you want in your stocking this year?
I’d like a new skydive rig, a wingsuit, a new surfboard, and lots of BONDS underwear.

What's your favourite way to stay active? Bootcamp, hikes, swimming?
There’re actually numerous ways, I love the gym! I do strength training, surfing, running, wakeboarding; basically, anything that is outdoors and extreme. That’s my way of staying fit and having fun at the same time.
If you had a chance, what is something you would tell your 16 year-old self from your vantage point today?
Don’t listen to anybody else’s opinions on how you should live your life. You should always follow whatever your heart is telling you to do. That’s your true path and you just need to have the courage and faith to follow that path; and don’t take things so personally.
Picture this: No one is home and you have the whole house as your stage to dance and sing. Your song of choice would be...
It would all depend on the mood I’m in, but I love Oasis. I’m more of an old school, classic dude. I also like BOB, they’re cool. My happy song to dance to though, would probably be anything by the band, The Radicals.
What is it about the style of underwear you’re wearing today that you love?
Obviously, it’s more comfortable and made of a high quality material. It’s a lot more competitive out there for brands now, so they have to have a better understanding of what it is that consumers want. BONDS are nailing that.

Your summer BONDS must have?
I am loving the high waist and triangle bra sets at the moment. Anything that makes dancing around the house on a warm day in my undies feel like we are back in the 80’s.
2018 has seen major developments in body image acceptance and confidence, which has seen a big increase in the discussion around underwear and fitting the body. Why do you think people are now more open to discussing their body and accepting their shape?
We all have insecurities, we all have something we want to say and we all have a story to tell. I think 2018 has been a very supportive year in regards to being body positive. Social media has some negatives but the positives are crazy good. We are in it together and we have chosen love over hate, accepting and sharing who we are and what we have been given.
What is one important thing you learnt in 2018 that you’re carrying into the new year?
I have learnt to slow down and not to be so damn hard on my super woman self, ALWAYS celebrate your achievements no matter the size and keep putting one foot in front of the other. As long as we keep moving, good things will come.
What do you want in your stocking this year?
A trip to Paris would be nice but I feel that might be blowing the $40 family budget…
What do you hope the new year has in store for you?
Excitement! New experiences and a year filled with more growth and challenges.. Just not another broken femur please.
How do you get in the spirit for Xmas?
Put the Christmas tree up and a walk up and down Franklin Road. And Christmas carols on repeat!
