Things to do this weekend: Heineken Urban Polo

We may have reached the end of summer, but the outdoor event fun is far from over. Introducing the Heineken Urban Polo, an unprecedented fusion of sport and music set to grace Auckland's Shore Road Reserve on Saturday 25th February, following a successful launch in Wellington earlier this month.

The Heineken Urban Polo delivers the skills and thrills of fast-paced polo in a scenic urban setting (and no need to endure the countryside roadie). Games will be played in a condensed arena in an exhilarating 3-player, 30-minute format, alongside an array of fine food and beverage vendors. The event also boasts an impressive lineup of international DJ's to wind off  the sporting splendor at nightfall, including Kilter and Miami Horror. At the centre of the event, the VIP Heineken Lawn will deliver the ultimate world-class experience, with up-close view of the kingly sport, entertainment from George FM DJ's and the opportunity for guests to mingle with players.
