Game of Thrones Star Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Are Engaged!

Is there something in the water at the Game of Thrones set? With two proposals in quick succession of eachanother, we’re beginning to think so!

First to announce their engagement was long-time GOT couple Kit Harington (John Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte), and now hot on their heels is their 21-year-old cast mate, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) to her muso beau, Joe Jonas.

Turner and Jonas, of Jonas Brothers and DNCE fame, have only been dating since November last year. Shrouded in secrecy, the talented duo have never appeared in an official photo together and rarely feature on their social media feeds. None of that mattered on Sunday though, when Jonas proposed to Turner with a beautiful pear-shaped diamond ring and matching eternity band.

The couple announced their engagement via matching Instagram posts (of course!) with Turner simply stating; “I said yes”; and Jonas responding; “She said yes”.  Aww.

Nothing further has been announced since their engagement, with the couple staying true to their private nature and keeping out of the limelight.

All of this leaves us wondering: what would a real life Game of Thrones wedding entail? Kit Harington has reportedly asked that production be halted briefly next year so the entire cast can attend his and Leslie’s wedding.

We think both couples should team up and have a joint wedding! The only question is: who would sit on which side? After all, Game of Thrones is known for its dramatic (read: deadly) weddings.
