The 6 P's to Pippa and James' wedding perfection
It’s official - Pippa Middleton and James Mathews just took our fairytale wedding dreams and spun them into a reality this weekend. Their Pinterest-perfect day sure left us with a lot to lust over - check out the six P's that went into their spectacular celebration.
The pearls
Adorning Pippa's head was a pearl-embellished, bespoke tulle veil created by Stephen Jones, and the same pair of pearl earrings she wore to her sister's wedding in 2011.
The palace
Putting a decadent spin on the classic canvas marquee, Pippa opted to have a vast, glass palace constructed outside her house. This accommodated 300 guests during the wedding reception. The wedding ceremony itself took place at St Marks Church, a 12th century Victorian building where the couple have previously gone to celebrate Christmas.
The pickup
While guests were chauffeured in a convoy of 50 Land Rovers, the bridal party rolled up to the Middleton home in true elegance - on board a fleet of vintage cars. The Jaguar E-type which the happy couple departed on (pictured below) is the world’s very oldest!
The pink and white roses
St Marks church was decorated with more than $20,000 worth of lavish floral garlands, curated and assembled by florists Lavender Green.
Pol Garcia's hairstyling
Praise has flowed for Pippa's hairstyle choice - a classic braided up-do, styled by hairdresser Pol Garcia.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte
Appointed the roles of pageboy and bridesmaid, these two win all the awards for most adorable guests.
Inspired? Our daydreams are sure running wild now.
