Five super easy face masks you can make at home

Everyone loves a good face mask, whether we are peeling them off or caking them on, there's nothing quite like a little TLC to bring your skin back to life. However rather than spending up large buying tubes of different lotions and potions, head to your kitchen to whip up some of these all natural homemade mask recipes.

Ultra Hydration Boost
1 teaspoon of natural honey
1 teaspoon of avocado, mashed
1 teaspoon of coconut oil

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl until it forms a paste. Massage into the face for 60 seconds and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly. This combination gives back what the day takes away, re-booting the skin for ultimate hydration.

Acne Prone Skin
1 egg white
½ a small lemon
½ teaspoon of honey

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and then whip until it’s a fluffy consistency. Apply to the face and let sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. This combination repairs damaged skin, fights acne bacteria and lightens scars and blemishes.

Banish Black-Heads
A few drops of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of sugar

Combine both ingredients in a small bowl.  Apply to the face, massaging specifically the blackhead prone areas, allow to dry then rinse off. This combination aims to shrink pores and prevent blackheads.

Expert in Exfoliation
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1/4 Cup of Oats

Separately prepare ¼ cup of oats using less water so that it forms a thick paste. Then combine all ingredients and gently massage into the skin. Rinse with water and pat dry.  This combination gently exfoliates, whilst retaining moisture and making the skin appear brighter.

Skin Brightener
2 tablespoons of sour cream
2 tablespoons of honey
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Apply to the face and leave for 20 minutes, then rinse. This combination heals, brightens and refines pores, preventing breakouts.
