What’s a hairstylist’s worst nightmare? The wind, because it ruins the artwork of hair they’ve spent ages shaping, sculpting and styling. It’s Murphy’s Law then that the biggest cyclone to hit New Zealand this year happened to do so at the same time as
Industry, New Zealand’s Premiere Hair Event, over the weekend.
Hosted at Auckland’s
Pullman Hotel, Industry presents annually the leading New Zealand hairstylists and some of their most incredible creations. This year’s finalists for New Zealand
Men’s Stylist of the Year 2014, as sponsored by
Structure by Joico, included
Michael Beel, Kaleb Pritchard, Brad Lepper and Chinney Yeap.

And although they were all phenomenal with some seriously exceptional submissions, it was
Brad Lepper of French Revolver Studio who was crowned top men's stylist. Check out his epic artwork on model
Tom Oosterhoff below.
Brad’s been on board a fair few Remix photoshoots and we’re stoked about his amazing achievement. Not to mention, we’re stoked that New Zealand has this ridiculously strong line-up of talented hairstylists.
