But in two short years, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has grown her own beauty empire, with cult products like velvet liquid lipsticks and limited edition holiday collections selling out in seconds. It's the stuff young entrepreneurs dream of.
Ever since her collaboration with big sis Khloe, we've been waiting with baited breath for the next sibling collaboration to get fans flocking to site.
Well, if Kylie's most recent Instagram post is anything to go by, the wait is over - a Kim Kardashian West x Kylie Cosmetics collection is coming.
The makeup mogul and her celebrity sis look like carbon copies of each other with their sleek, centre-parted black hairstyles. Yes, it seems they're that identical.
While we can't glean too many details from the teaser video, the glowy duo daub, swipe and pat neutral hues to their lips and skin, which has us thinking the collaboration may focus solely around achieving a #flawless complexion above all else.
Lip kits, highlighters, blushes are mainstays in the Kylie Cosmetics collection, but the brand hasn't yet released a foundation... could this be the first face product for the cult beauty line?!
