Contrary to popular belief, it is not the designer handbag, the sky-scraper heels or the sparkling jewellery that make the most important accessory to complete any outfit... we like to think it’s a healthy, shining head of hair. JOICO Creative Hair Director, Felicity Bruce worked a number of everyday styles on Mia and Azini on the set of an Autumnal Remix fashion shoot that proves the best looks start from the top down.
As an expert in the industry, we chatted to the guru, Felicity Bruce, on all things hair. She explained how she created these two looks, the best products to achieve them both at home and of course, her highlights from the shoot.
What was the inspiration behind these looks?
I was really inspired by the everyday woman. Beautiful hair that has movement, is effortless, healthy & wearable.
In your professional opinion, what were your highlights from the shoot?
Working with natural texture can be quite challenging to keep it looking frizz-free. The look for Azini required lots of work to create natural-looking curls that were similar to her own, shiny and frizz-free. The camera picks up every strand.
