From Parisian shag to blunt bobs, these are the 2023 winter hair trends to know about

In 2022 Matilda Djerf-esque claw clips, Dyson curls and Scandi blonde highlights dominated our winter feeds. This year we can sense a slight shift, parisian shag (à la Suki Waterhouse) natural tones and razor sharp bobs are hitting our screens. Mood boards at the ready! These are the winter hair trends we expect to see more of in the coming weeks.

Blunt Bob

Hailey Bieber called, and everyone answered. Preppy contoured bobs are set to take over.

Parisian Shag

Daisy Jones and the Six didn’t just govern our screens, it took charge of our hair inspo. Bangs are back and they're shaggier than ever.

Wet-look

This Kardashian staple is surprisingly versatile, we expect to see even more of our favourite celebs adopting this trend as Met season approaches.

Y2K Styling

It’s no secret that Y2K fashion is back in full force and this doesn’t exclude our locks. You can expect to see even more butterfly clips, bandanas and intricate updos (and don’t be surprised if they are posted from an early 00’s digital camera)

Festy plaits

Likely thanks to TikTok sensation Alix Earle, 2010 Coachella-esque mini plaits are creeping into our feeds and we’re not mad about it.
