Easy Makeup tips from Dior's Fashion Week Show

Christian Dior showcased a beautiful take on gothic makeup at their 2016 Fall Fashion show. How can you get the look? Creative and Image Director Peter Phillips gives easy to follow makeup tips from Dior below - now to find a runway! 

According to Phillips, the look started with a purple-black lipstick called Poison, and from there 'it was all about contradictions'. They wanted something quite boyish for the hair and a sophisticated makeup look with a killer lip.

Lashes
Peter Phillips best trick for getting spidery, clumpy lashes is to 'Use a primer first like Lash Maximiser, then apply black mascara, but use the tip of the wand in circles on the lashes to draw the together.

Hair
Hairstylist for the show, Guido, made precision partings with double knots to complete the look.

Skin
Dark romanticism is the theme for this beauty look. Phillips used Diorskin Nude to illuminate the skin.

Lips
‘Poison’ is the hero of the look. To get the lip: outline the lips with ‘Poison’ lip liner, then fill them in with black eyeliner. Apply the lipstick, then go over with a lip gloss before you head out.
