The Remix Weekly Wrap Up
We’re back with another round of highlights! Here’s what’s been making waves at Remix HQ this week…
NZFW Is Back!
The fashion gods have answered our prayers—it's official! New Zealand Fashion Week is making its much-anticipated return to Auckland from August 25th to 30th, 2025. After a hiatus, this event promises to unite the biggest names in New Zealand fashion with the brightest new talents shaping the industry’s future. While the line up is still underwraps, we hope familiar favourites like Zambesi, Kathryn Wilson and Stolen Girlfriends take to the runway once again. Held for the first time at the waterfront venue, Shed 10, the 2025 event will infuse fresh energy into the Fashion Week experience.
One Grimace Shake Please!
Is it really Friday if you’re not enjoying a takeaway? You may have seen blowing up on your TikTok the new Grimace Shake, which Macca’s much-loved character has kindly brought along with him to NZ. McDonald’s is adding an extra meaning to your order this weekend through their nationwide fundraising event dedicated to supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). On Saturday, November 2nd, $1 from every Big Mac sold will be donated to RMHC, helping provide comfort and resources to families with seriously ill children. So why not treat yourself to a Big Mac and a Grimace Shake this weekend?
Introducing Reimagine
As the name suggests, Reimagine is all about envisioning things in a fresh, innovative way. Kowtow’s fourth capsule, Reimagine 04, embodies this playful and crisp spirit as a limited edition collection. This collection brings back some of their most loved pieces while celebrating sustainability through a homage to surplus fabrics. Through a thoughtful selection of surplus fabrics, each material has been reimagined to tell a unique story and embrace a new beginning.
Elegance and True Beauty
The new collection from Twenty-Seven Names features Gingham Blouses and delicate Daisy Chain Dresses. Designed for those endless summer evenings, perfect for savouring with a crisp glass of white wine. Picture yourself in the Buttercup Dress, layered with a soft knit bolero, rushing to catch the 3 pm ferry, the sea breeze in your hair, as you head to the Viaduct to meet the girls for 4 pm drinks. It’s all about capturing those effortless moments of warmth, style, and spontaneity.
