Move, Eat & Shop
Name a better trio. There are no three words in the dictionary that better describe Remix editor-in-chief Amber’s perfect day. The great news is, these three things can be enjoyed within the chic walls of Commercial Bay. 
The centrally located precinct is one of the most desirable destinations in the country, from its highly regarded Harbour Eats zone and bountiful food court, to the endless alleys of premium retail shops and beauty stores – it’s a one-stop shop for both errand running and entertainment. I recently spent a morning there shopping for anniversary gifts (for myself too– I’ve been married long enough to know building a wishlist is key), dining at the new Italian hot spot Gemmi, and dabbling in a reformer pilates class at the new Reform studio. 
When I say dabbling, I mean shaking my way through my first session since my daughter was born. Regardless of my disappointing glute power, I loved the class and it’s not lost on me how sensational it is that Commercial Bay now boasts an on-site pilates studio. 
Anniversary shopping took me to the shelves of Dior Beauty where I toyed with the idea of creating a signature scent for my husband to enjoy with their stunning fragrance-making station.
The new and larger than life I Love Ugly store upstairs provided numerous options for my man (jorts incoming, Rhys), while my own wish list grew larger with help from the racks of Wynn Hamlyn, Superette, Moochi, and Aje. What I love about Commercial Bay shopping is you’re pleasantly surprised around every corner as another favourite brand comes into sight. 
All this shopping and stretching from Reform had burnt up a calorie deficit which I happily replenished with lunch dishes from the newest eatery in the Bay, Gemmi. Watching the cruise ships come and go while enjoying a spicy vodka rigatoni, burrata and cos & crostini dish topped off a memorable day. The ability to move, eat and shop in one destination at Commercial Bay is unique and not to be missed.
