Cocktail hour with Moët & Chandon Ice
Last week, Team Remix joined a host of other notable Kiwi celebrities to share a Moët moment at the premier all-white Moët Ice Lunch within the luxury champagne lounge at the ASB Classic. Donning their best tennis whites, the glamorous lunch was hosted by fitness enthusiast and ex-Bachelor star Art Green, fashion designer duo Madeleine Harman and Jess Grubisa, Silver Fern Kayla Cullen and Remix's own fashion editor, Amber Peebles.
In celebration of the warmer weather, each notable Kiwi was tasked with creating the perfect accompaniment to enjoy with Moët Ice, the only champagne best served with ice. From raspberry and mint to ginger and lime, guests were encouraged to replicate these cocktails using the beautifully presented buckets of garnishes on tables.
The fresh summer menu on offer was designed by celebrity chef Nic Watt, to perfectly complement the Moët Ice cocktails each host had thoughtfully designed.
Guests were welcomed to the luxurious space with Asian-inspired canapes, in the form of a crispy soft shell crab in a Matcha green tea slider or a duck breast Nigri served with yuzu koshu and Sichuan soy sauce.
What followed was an exceedingly flavoursome white miso and ruby grapefruit roasted salmon fillet, served with white rice and summer raw vegetable salads. So good in fact, almost everyone went back for a second helping.
To finish, Nic served Moët Champagne poached cherries with vanilla bean fromage blanc.
Resident Moët DJ, Justin Sweeney kept the good times rolling long into the afternoon, as guests got excited about the men's semi-final held that day.
