Champagne Tasting at the QT Rooftop Wintergarden? Sign Us Up!

Stuck on things to do as the weather turns cold and stormy? We got you. Over the next nine weeks, QT Rooftop has transformed into a luminous ‘Wintergarden’ in partnership with Perrier-Jouët for an exclusive Champagne experience. 

Bubbles will flow underneath the QT Rooftop gardens glow with guests being able to indulge in some of Perrier-Jouët’s finest drops. From Perrier-Jouët Brut NV to the 2013 vintage Belle Èpoque Rosé - Rooftop at QT are giving you the chance to taste these divine drops by the glass in a guided tasting flight of three to five premium pours. 

A selection of two tasting experiences include - ‘The Taste of Nature,’ with three Champagnes from Perrier-Jouëts Blason collection, a refined trio of Blanc de Blancs, Brut and Rosé for $49 per person. While the premium ‘Enchanted Discoveries experience invites guests to taste five pours in full flight including Perrier-Jouëts very special Belle Èpoque and Belle Èpoque Rosé for $110 per person, delivered tableside in a Perrier-Jouët enchanted tree.

Of course, no Champagne tasting would be complete without a delectable menu. The special seafood-inspired canapé menu has been designed by QT Auckland’s Executive Chef, James Laird, to perfectly pair with every sip. The menu offerings include morish bites of scampi crudo with chilli and dill, Prosciutto di San Daniele with Clevedon buffalo mozzarella and crispy sage, a pair of Te Matuku oysters, Kataifi Mooloolaba king prawn with honey and chilli, and a Mt Cook salmon caviar crumpet crème fraiche. Match your Champagne with three canapés for $45 for five canapés for $89.
