The little bag that could: discover the new ‘IT’ bag from Coach

Hot off the heels of the Coach Pillow Tabby, the luxury design house has released its latest range, which equally rivals its predecessor. Quilties are the newest addition to The Coach Originals collection and just like the famed Pillow Tabby, they pack a puff, literally. 

The Coach Originals collection is inspired by the city that started it all, celebrating the legacy and authenticity New York brings to those that visit and to those lucky enough to call it home. As a homage to the concrete jungle, The Coach Originals Collection is inspired by its vintage heritage. 

Featuring new silhouettes inspired by the archive, these padded pouches are available in three styles. The Quilties Dinky is just as cute as it sounds, with 360 degree puff and gold hardware to match, it's the perfect understated crossbody option. The Quilties Lunchbox Top Handle is just as cute but features an easy to carry  handle, signature to The Coach Originals Collection, making the option to go strapless that much easier. Last but by no means least, the Quilties Willis Top Handle comes complete with a front closing clasp, playing on the classic Coach look, this quilted number has it all.

It wouldn't be a Coach bag if they didn't come in an array of fun, bright colours. Showcasing new colourways of berry pink and lime green, it’s the perfect way to inject some much-needed colour into your winter wardrobe. The traditional Quilties are crafted from luscious nappa leather, or for something entirely different, there’s a new treatment of Signature Jacquard Denim, available in classic blue jean fashion.

Showcasing the bags in all their glory are Coach family members Hari Nef, Dree Hemingway and Rickey Thompson, shot frollicking through open fields and sun-drenched prairie landscapes. Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers describes the collection as one of “nostalgia, freedom and anticipation,” noting that he designed the collection with new adventures in mind. Exploring craft and Coach’s heritage with a fresh attitude, the collection illustrates a timely story about friendship and being together again.

Described by the brand as “the little bag that could” each version of the Quiltie is exactly that. Small enough to sling over your shoulder or wear on your wrist, but big enough to hold all of life's essentials, leaving no question as to why it’s this season's “IT” bag.
