A$AP Rocky is the new face of Dior Homme

American Rap artist A$AP Rocky is making his way through the fashion industry following his recent debut as one of the faces for Dior Homme’s fall 2016 campaign. Known for his daring fashion, Rocky has also done a variety of collaborations with fashion labels and recently created the ‘Originals’ collection with GUESS. 

 

‘I mean, it’s dope when you can mix it. It’s all about taking two worlds like streetwear and high-end and kind of mashing them together,' Rocky explained in an interview with WWD. According to Dior, he embodies ‘the empowered masculinity of today's urban dandy,’ making him the perfect fit for the edgy campaign. 

 

Creative director, Kris Van Assche revealed to WWD his thoughts on Rocky’s style. ‘I really like his personal style and taste. He’s a real fashion lover. He feels like fashion really influences his own work, and he has strong opinions on that.’
