Auckland's answer to an enchanted forest

Every bit as bewitching as a fairytale would suggest, esteemed champagne house Perrier-Jouët transformed Auckland's Clooney restaurant into a luscious enchanted forest this weekend.

Garden of Wonder by Perrier-Jouët transformed Clooney's Belle Époque Private Dining Room from a dimly lit, intimate dining area to a magical garden, complete with delicate floral arrangements, lush greenery and all-natural flounces.

Last Thursday, Team Remix joined a host of New Zealand media at the launch of the Garden of Wonder, where guests sipped on flutes of Perrier-Jouët Champagne while nibbling on gourmet canapés prepared by the new Clooney chef, Jacob Kears, live from the open plan kitchen.

Specialising in Japanese fare using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients, we were privy to a series of six canapes, the highlight being a delectable storm crab and frozen rhubarb flower.
