Veuve Clicquot transforms Queenstown into a winter playground

There's absolutely no reason to suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder this winter, especially when we're staring down the barrel of one of the country's most stylish seasonal soirees. 

Veuve Clicquot in the Snow is one of the esteemed champagne brands most grandiose events is a sure fire highlight on the social calendar. This August, Queenstown will be transformed into a the ultimate winter playground and invites locals and visitors to enjoy an action packed week in style - with a glass of champagne in hand, of course. 

One of the clear highlights at Clicquot in the Snow is Veuve Clicquot ambassador and premier footwear designer Kathryn Wilson's runway show. This year, Kathryn's show is taking place at the sprawling Milford Sounds Flights Hanger that will be transformed into a glamorous catwalk, allowing guests an exclusive sneak peek her SS17 collection ahead of its release. 

For the first time, imbibers will be treated to a luxury Clicquot Croquet in the Snow experience, where they'll be whisked away via helicopter for a scenic flight over QT's impressive mountainscape, before landing amongst the snow-capped peaks for a glass of chilled Veuve Clicquot and the highest game of croquet in the Southern Hemisphere. 

After a day on the mountain at Coronet Peak, skiers and snowboarders can indulge in Apres Ski at the Clicquot Apres Bar. 

Feeling peckish? Make tracks to Queenstown's famous Rata Restaurant where guests can dine on a four-course degustation lunch designed by celebrity chef Josh Emett, to be paired with Veuve Clicquot champagne. Pier 19, Skyline, and Hilton Queenstown will also be offering Clicquot-inspired gastronomical experiences. 

The four-day celebration will conclude with an incredible closing party which will definitely be one to remember - featuring Clicquot Rose as it's star champagne offering.

Clicquot in the Snow will run from Thursday 3rd August to Sunday 6th August with tickets on sale from May 24th with packages available ranging from $1500-$1700.
