The vape vs. cigarette argument

Introducing the Vype Epen 3; the latest smoking alternative taking the world by storm.

Undoubtedly one of the most common New Year’s resolutions is to quit smoking. But the trouble with giving up the cigs is that it's actually, really, very hard.

Although the obvious solution is to not start in the first place - for some, it’s too late. There are a number of tried-and-usually-failed-once-tested methods out there. Going cold turkey (which almost never works), the use of medication, and the latest which is taking the world by storm - the e-cigarette, commonly referred to as the vape.

There is a myriad of contradicting ‘studies’ out there stating that vaping is harmful to your health. Really, there is very little doubt that e-cigarettes are less harmful than conventional cigarettes. Public Health England (not sponsored) reported that e-cigarettes are approximately 95% less harmful than the durries.

There is an ongoing study at Sheffield Hallam University that looks the benefits and risks of using e-cigarettes and perhaps the most astounding discovery was that those randomly allocated to the e-cigarettes groups were most likely to not take up smoking again.

Like anything, when quitting smoking, it’s important to do diligent research to find what is going to be the best alternative for you. But if you’re serious about giving up, and conventional methods haven’t worked for you, the evidence keeps stacking up in favour of the vape.

It’s also just a whole lot less anti-social, and NZ’s own Ministry of Health says “smokers switching to vaping are highly likely to reduce their health risks AND for those around them”, win-win.

Speaking from a non-smokers perspective, I’d much rather sit next to a vaper blowing berry-flavoured Vype ePen 3 steam in my direction than a smoker blowing dart-fumes.

‘We get it, you vape’ sounds a lot cooler than ‘we get it, you smoke’.

The Vype ePen 3 also just won UK vaping product of the year meaning it’s gonna’ fly off the shelves. So if you’re ready to make the switch, look no further than / find out more here.
