Spotting George Clooney; contemporary art turned magazine cover

She’s covered George Clooney in polka dots and stole the hearts of Instagram’s art fanatics worldwide. Yayoi Kusama is a contemporary artist working in a wide range of media stretching from painting, sculpturing and installations, all the way to film. 

Born in Japan, with an obsession with patterns and repetition, Kusama collaborated with W Magazine for their January/December cover. Known as a forerunner of Pop Art, Kusama’s love of polka dots has caught our attention, plus who wouldn’t cover Hollywood’s day-one heartthrob.
