James Cordon recreates Beauty and the Beast on LA crosswalk
There is still a couple more weeks until the highly-anticipated Beauty and the Beast film hits the silver screen here in New Zealand, and to get us more hyped, James Cordon gave the L.A public a live sneak peek of the film!
The hilarious host recruited three stars from the much-loved Disney film - Dan Stevens (Beast), Luke Evans (Gaston) and Josh Gad (LeFou) - to join him on a quest of recreating the musical on a crosswalk that put traffic to a halt.
Emma Watson was absent from the astounding performance, so Cordon took it upon himself to purse the character of Belle and romantically slow dance in the middle of the street with the Beast.
The effective Disney remake turned into a montage of the film’s best musical tunes including “Belle” and “Beauty and the Beast” - with backup dancers, set pieces and extravagant costume changes to make the most of this one-time production.
Although, the recital didn’t prove too popular to onlooking drivers who were honking and screaming at the stars… trying to escape the green traffic light ASAP.
