Grandmother-in-chief: Anna Wintour!

The world welcomes new fashion royalty! Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue, has just become a grandmother! 

Anna's son, Charles Shaffer, and his wife, Lizzy Shaffer, announced the arrival of their beautiful baby girl on Instagram last week. Charles and Lizzy were married in 2014 in a ceremony held at Wintour's New York home.

Vogue confirmed the baby's name is Caroline Anne Shaffer. Wintour's daughter, Bee Shaffer, paid Caroline a visit last week and took to Instagram to share this adorable photo of her niece.

Wintour has plenty to celebrate this week, as baby Caroline follows the announcement of Bee's engagement to Francesco Carrozzini, son of the late editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, Franca Sozzani.

It seems icon Anna's Vogue royal family is just getting bigger and better! We wouldn't mind a chic baby clothes feature in their next issue...
