Attention Little Monsters: Mother Monster is returning to Auckland for one night and one night only!
The Princess of Pop, Lady Gaga is set to bring her Born This Way Ball to Auckland’s Vector Arena on June 7.
The Born This Way Ball will see Gaga perform 110 shows around the world. The tour will be Lady Gaga’s first, since the 2011 release of Born This Way, which to date, has sold nearly 6 million copies worldwide. The album is the follow up to Gaga’s Grammy Award-winning albums The Fame Monster (2009) and The Fame (2008). Combined, The Fame and The Fame Monster have sold 15 million albums worldwide, while Lady Gaga’s hit singles have combined sales of over 65 million worldwide.
Featuring tracks from her latest album, Born This Way, plus songs from both The Fame and The Fame Monster Albums, Gaga fanatics can expect a show that will be bigger and louder than ever before.
The upcoming tour, covering Australia and parts of Asia, has been described by Gaga as an "electro-metal pop-opera; the tale of the Beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating".
