Are you making these three brow faux pas?
When it comes to brows, Anastasia Beverly Hills knows best. Anastasia Soare, the woman behind the brand shared her top brow tips and no-nos at the Cosmoprof Beauty Convention in Las Vegas.
Responsible for Kim Kardashian's flawless brows and the inventor of cult product, Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade, we will not question what the queen of beauty has to say. Here are the top three things you should never do to your brows- pens and pads out ladies.
Stop Tweezing
We've all been there; picking up our first pair of tweezers and plucking every hair out that we see in sight, leaving us with early 2000's brows. Soare says, 'you know what the biggest mistake that I see? Women are tweezing their eyebrows overall, thinking that they get a higher arch, that's not the case. The eyebrow needs to be long.' Lesson learnt.
Fill from the top
Start filling your browns in from the bottom, not the top. Beginning from the middle of your eyebrows and gradually work your way to the tail, where there can be more product. Never apply too much product at the front of the brow but if you have to, apply with a lighter hand or a more neutral shade. Wave goodbye to painted-on brows and embrace the more natural, multi toned look.
Slow down on the products
While it can be easy to get carried away sitting in front of our mirrors, the best way to achieve brows that impress is by following the mantra, 'less is more.' Anastasia told us her go-to product for her brows- clear brow gel. The gel doesn't add any more colour to the brows but has the ability to add more volume.
