Glenmorangie welcomes you to a Delicious & Wonderful World

Tall, short or on the rocks, there’s no right or wrong way to enjoy a whisky and as one of the most diverse spirits at the drinks table, it invites experimentation effortlessly and abundantly. When daring to dream up wonderful whisky creations, we turn to the pioneers of the craft - Glenmorangie Single Malt Scotch Whisky - for a drink that doesn't disappoint. Celebrate the connoisseurs at an event just as mesmerising and memorable, right here in the city of Auckland.

Whisky-over-wine drinkers, Glenmorangie Whisky is celebrating its endless quest to dream up the world's most delicious whiskies with the panoramic backdrop of Auckland harbour to match. Bringing its Delicious and Wonderful World to life on the 6th October, the event promises to be a feast for all the senses - not just your tastebuds.

For one night and one night only, Glenmorangie is bringing you an evening that is both immersive and imaginative, with a range of sensory experiences to enjoy at the iconic and chic Hi-So Rooftop Bar. Taking place 17 floors above the hustle and bustle of the city centre, you’re in for an incredible high-rise experience at SO/ Hotel’s little slice of heaven in the sky.

What’s more? The decadent event is being held in collaboration with some of New Zealand’s most talented wonder makers. From unexpected playful cocktails by celebrated mixologist Kurtis Bosly, paired with delectable desserts by sweet treat master and executive pastry chef Romain Jeunet, to an exclusive light and sound experience co-created and imagined by Kiwi pop duo Sweet Mix Kids, the night will be truly unforgettable thanks to good food, good drinks, good music and some top-notch whisky making the rounds.

Upon arrival, guests will be taken up into a world like no other. With cocktails in hand, those lucky enough to be in attendance will be challenged and treated to a variety of immersive games that unlock each of Kurtis’ interactive cocktail experiences. This, in tow with the chance to discover Glenmorangie’s award-winning whisky range from The Wonder Bar, is why Glenmorangie’s Delicious & Wonderful World is not to be missed.

“It has been a pleasure working alongside Kurtis Bosley and Glenmorangie to reimagine the way we present desserts and cocktails. I am always amazed by the ways in which food can ignite all of our senses and guests of Glenmorangie’s Delicious & Wonderful World are in for a truly whimsical experience,” said Romain Jeunet, SO/ Hotel patisserie chef.
