Here's who you can expect to see at this year's NZFW
Start planning your outfits now, people, New Zealand Fashion Week is back for it's 17th year and if the 86-strong designer line-up is anything to go by, it's going to be a goodie.
You'll want to block out August 28th - September 3rd in your diaries now, as New Zealand's most-loved designers showcase their new season offerings across two catwalks, a purpose-built installation space, a newly minted trade space, and a selection of offsite locations throughout the seven-day stylish affair.
Not just an avenue for the established, NZFW is known for celebrating up-and-coming fashion designers, too. This year will be no different, with the line-up proving our fashion industry is worth its weight in gold.
International delegates will fly from all over the globe for NZFW, including as far as Canada, America, Hong Kong and Tel Aviv, as well as notable media and influencers from America and across the ditch.
Offering dual purpose to celebrate, the week-long event will also mark the 20-year anniversary of Huffer and Tanya Carlson, while Salasai will celebrate their 10th birthday as part of the New Zealand fashion landscape.
The trade week is set to feature three group shows - the New Generation showcase, New Zealand Post Miromoda Show, and the NZFW Graduate Show Presented By Brother.
NZFW will be opened by prominent Kiwi designers Zambesi, who have been selected for the coveted Mercedes-Benz Presents Accolade.
