A little party never hurt nobody: Win an HTC One and come to our exclusive issue launch

Screen Shot 2014-09-18 at 6.54.56 AM To celebrate the release of our latest New Zealand Heroes issue, we’re throwing an enormous Spring party, in association with our mates from Spark and HTC. The exclusive VIP party will be held at #SparkPark, a special spring wonderland created especially for the occasion. There will be all sorts of installations and activations across fashion, beauty, lifestyle and culture to bring the pages of the issue to life. Not to mention, free food and drinks, celebrity guests and great music for what is sure to be an incredible night. It’s a VIP guest list… but we’d love two Remix readers to come along, each with a friend! Among many other things, #SparkPark will feature a colorful flower wall, and heaps of other snap-worthy things to take photos of. So if you’re going to come along, then you’re going to need a new phone with a state-of-the-art camera. Good thing our partners HTC will hook up each of the two winners with a brand new HTC One (M8) smartphone! Here’s the lowdown on the HTC One (M8) smartphone camera… HTC’s UltraPixel technology uses pixels up to two times bigger than other smartphone camera for photos that are perfect every time. The Duo camera also boasts one-touch editing tools, an intuitive shutter button, and massive panoramas, so you can take professional quality shots (or a cheeky selfie) in a snap! Smart Flash is a built-in dual flash feature that automatically selects the right tone and intensity so the lighting in your photos matches the scene. No more unflattering selfies or washed-out pics. Then UFocus is a smartphone-first… after taking a photo, UFocus uses the depth information collected by the Duo camera to give you professional-looking portraits. To enter for one of two double passes and an HTC One (M8) for each winner, simply ‘Like’ the Facebook field below and comment your favourite song you’d most want to hear at the party. We’ll pass them on to the DJ… Entries close Friday 26th September. For more information on HTC click here and for the latest from Spark click here.
