Vikings: Publisher Tim Phin’s favourite Lightbox series

Words by Tim Phin. I don’t often get time to watch television and when I do there’s never anything on I want to watch. Trying to fit life in around the times on traditional television just doesn’t work for me. I got tired of missing out on all the good shows, so I recently signed up to Lightbox and started checking out all the different series they have on there. If you haven’t heard about Lightbox then check it out here. Lightbox has an insane number of epic television series across all genres for you to watch… whenever you want. Safe to say I’m already converted and can’t believe I’ve been missing out on Vikings. Already in its second season, Vikings is a historical drama inspired by the sagas of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok in medieval Scandinavia. It follows Viking Lothbrok, played by Travis Fimmell, as his crew and family make their fabled conquests throughout Europe. Created by Michael Hirst and shot in Ireland, Vikings has all the action and drama that have made people fall in love with other television series like Game of Thrones. I like it better though; taking the legendary sagas from partially fictitious tales gives it that historic and somewhat realistic feel. I thoroughly suggest you get amongst Vikings before the third season starts and the best way to do that is Lightbox. Our whole team has signed up to it!
