New Opening: Josh Emett's Hawker & Roll
Lovers of Madam Woo, rejoice! The brand is expanding into the fast-casual food market with the opening of Hawker & Roll in Sylvia Park this December!
The Madam Woo brand began with its Takapuna flagship, which quickly became an Auckland favourite. Now, talented chef Josh Emett and restaurateur Fleur Carlton have expanded their super tasty Malaysian fare and quirkiness across both the North and South Island. Since opening, the duo are adapting Madam Woo's much-loved menu and vibe for a broader, more fast-paced casual audience.
Based in Sylvia Park, Hawker & Roll is named after the famous Madam Woo Hawker Roll - making this dish the inspiration and driving force of the eateries' irresistible and affordable menu.
The Malaysian street food on offer will not only feature several variations of the Hawker Roll, but healthy sides, add-ons and Grab-and-Go options, for those who don't want to stop shopping for a second! Loyalty and order-ahead features will also be available through the Hawker & Roll app - the first of its kind in New Zealand.
Hawker & Roll will be one of the first openings at Sylvia Park's new restaurant precinct, The Grove. The precinct will provide an energetic yet relaxed meet-up space away from the bustle of the mall. Another excuse to hit the shops - don't mind if we do!
We can't wait to experience the vibrant energy of Madam Woo with delicious, high-quality food in this quick, fun new format! We will definitely be first in line this December.
